低层大气的潮汐能够上传到电离层高度,影响电离层以及背景热层大气。研究潮汐的波动信号怎么激发,并从地面传播到中高层大气,对我们了解低层大气与中高层大气的耦合具有重要的意义。鉴于大气潮汐在大气层/电离层耦合研究中的重要和关键作用,且为了深入研究中高层大气对大气潮汐的响应,采用新的方法从观测数据中得到了高分辨率的大气潮汐成分,并具体分析了他们的气候学特征、纬度-高度分布,并首次分析了中间层-低热层(MLT)区域非迁移潮汐的逐日变化。揭示了中高层大气潮汐的特性及其物理机制,这为进一步开展大气层/电离层耦合研究奠定了基础。
